Pet Health Club
Our Pet Health Club is a great way to spread the cost of veterinary preventative healthcare for your pet and save money with a monthly direct debit.
Practice Facilities
We have a full range of practice facilities that you would expect of a modern, veterinary practice.
New Puppy Or Kitten
Getting a new pet is very exciting! But it can also be a very stressful time, full of questions. We can help you with all of these problems.
Cats
At Brookend, we have been caring for the cats of Witham and the surrounding area since 1995.
Dogs
We love seeing all sorts of pets including over 1,500 dogs registered with the practice.
Rabbits
It is also important to regularly have your rabbit checked over to prevent health problems such as over grown teeth and fly strike. One of the most important ways to keep your rabbit healthy is to feed the correct diet, which we can advise you on.
Fleas & Worms
You can book a free nurse appointment to assess your pets’ risk of parasites and discuss the most appropriate treatments.
Ticks
Ticks are blood-sucking parasites which belong to the spider family. They are common in the UK with one survey showing that, unknown to their owners, almost 15% of dogs are carrying ticks.
Microchips
There is one method of pet identification, which is permanent, invisible and tamperproof - the microchip implant.
Vaccinations & Neutering
At Brookend Veterinary Surgery we provide a wide range of vaccination and neutering services designed to help you to keep your pet in the best of health.

Dental Care
A common complaint is a pet’s bad breath. This is usually due to dental problems such as the build-up of plaque or tartar. If untreated this can lead to gum disease (gingivitis) and teeth root abscesses.
Insurance For Pets
Many people now take out pet insurance to cover the costs of accidents or illness. At Brookend Veterinary Surgery we pride ourselves on the standard of care provided for your pet.
Fireworks
Certain times of year can be very stressfull for pets and their owners. Noise phobias triggered by fireworks can be extremely distressing.
